Women whose appendix or tonsils (tonsils) have been removed blessed. A study reveals women who have had appendectomy or tonsils likely to get pregnant faster than those who have not.

The study was conducted at the University of Dundee and University College London by examining medical records from thousands of women in the UK. The result, more than 54.4 percent of pregnant women after appendectomy, 53.4 percent of pregnant women after tonsillectomy, and nearly 60 percent for the above two procedures. This compares to 43.7 percent of all residents who have had children.

"For years medical students have been taught that appendicitis has a negative effect on fertility, and young women are often afraid that once their appendix is lifted it threatens their chances of getting pregnant in the future," says Sami Shimi, Senior Lecturer at the School of Medicine at the University of Dundee as reported by Popular Science.

Researchers have found a correlation, also know the cause. But Shimi insisted the study showed the taking of inflamed organs or organs suffering from recurrent inflammation in women, increasing their chances of conceiving.

But researchers see this possibility influenced behavior. The Dunsee research team leads the category of liberal sexual activity as well as pelvic inflammatory disease may contribute to appendix or inflammation of the tonsils.

In addition, researchers say, raising appendix (appendix) healthy or tonsils will not increase fertility.
